When advocating to external agencies or partnerships think about:

  • Inviting the target group into your institution
  • A partnership approach, involving other museums, archives or libraries
  • Developing and showcasing joint projects based on shared agendas to increase understanding and develop skills on both sides
  • Discussion with your regional agency, especially if you will be talking to regional strategic organisations
  • Gaining support from your organisation before approaching external partners

These powerpoint presentations and supporting notes can be downloaded and adapted to help you make the case to external and internal advocacy audiences. Use the Convince colleagues presentation to introduce Inspiring Learning for All in more detail to your colleagues and stakeholders.
