Several organisations used the GLOs to improve one of their existing research tools in order to generate better evidence of learning.

Warwickshire Libraries and Leeds City Art gallery added a single question to an existing research tool.

The Imperial War Museum decided to rewrite an existing questionnaire using the GLOs as a framework.

'We expect the use of the GLOs…to become common practice, embedded in our project planning and evaluation. It is a vocabulary through which we can describe what we achieve. The fact that this is being done across the country gives it great weight and credibility.'
